Pengaruh Pola Asuh Gizi Terhadap Kejadian Gizi Kurang Pada Anak Usia 6-24 Bulan Di Kecamatan Peukan Bada Aceh Besar

The prevalence of malnutrition in Aceh Province is always higher than the national level. The data from Riskesdas 2010 showed that 23.7 % under five childreen were malnourished (7.1 severe malnutrition and 16.6 underweight). Nutrition parenting for children 6-24 month is one of determinant factors for child's intake that will affect the growth and nutritional status of children. This study aimed to analyse the effect of nutrition care on the incidence of under nutrition in children 6-24 month in Peukan Bada sub district, Aceh Besar. This study used Nested Case Control Study. The case were malnutrition children aged 6-24 month (z-score 0.05). There is no significant effect of nutrition care on the incidence of undernutrition in children 6-24 month in the Peukan Bada sub district of Aceh Besar. It is important to improve nutrition care through complementary counseling and it is important to do the other study to analyse the correlation between the incidence of disease and other secondary factors that might influence nutritional status.
