Sensitivity And Specificity Determination Of Ideal Body Weight Standards Based Brocca And Waist Hip Ratio ( RIPP ) Against The Body Mass Index (BMI) In Aceh Polytechnic Employees
Many methods are used to determine your ideal weight, in Indonesia, which is often used is the standard Brocca and BMI, while RLPP to detect the spread of fat in adipose issue. Ideal bodies of each course, there are differences in how these weight values are considered most desirable. This difference raises the question of determining the actual Which better utritional status. It is necessary for a study of the validity (sensitivity and specificity) method of determining ideal weight based on standard Brocoa, BMI, RLPP.The purpose of the study determine the sensitivity and specificity of the method of determining ideal weight based on standard Brocca and RLPP to IMT. Type of research is cross-sectional and Analytic Epidemiology in assessing the sensitivity and specificity of the measurement tool determinants of nutritional status/ideal weight. The experiment was conducted from September to December 2013 at the Polytechnic of Health Ministry of Health of Aceh. Sample of 49 people drawn from the study data Risbinakes in 2011 with the title " Relationship Performance Based IMT polytechnic lecturers ". Analysis of the data with the test Se and Sp of each method.Results of male height reratanya larger (164.4 ± 5.8 cm) than in women (153.3 ± 4.2 cm). Weight men reratanya greater (71.4 ± 9.1 kg) than women ( 65.5 ± 14.6 kg ) . Waist circumference men the avarage greater ( 93.8 ± 9.1 cm ) than women ( 84.6 ± 11.5 cm ) . While the male hip circumference the avarage lower ( 100.7 ± 5.6 cm ) than women ( 103.4 ± 12.0 cm ) . Standard Brocca have more sensitivity to detect malnutrition at 97.1 % , while the specificity for detecting normal nutritional status at 71.4 %. Waist Hip Ratio has the sensitivity to detect low nutrition (42.8 %) while the specificity for detecting normal nutritional status (78.6 %). In women, the standard Brocca have a higher sensitivity for detecting 100 % more nutrition. In RLPP men have higher specificity (100 %) for the detection of normal nutritional status. Conclusions In women, Brocca standard has a higher sensitivity for detecting 100 % more nutrition while on Waist Hip Ratio men have higher specificity (100 %) for the detection of normal nutritional status.
