Efektivitas Irigasi Luka Menggunakan Larutan Normal Salin Yang Di Hangatkan Terhadap Nyeri Luka Trauma Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Langsa
The problem appear in traumatic injury is pain . Pain responses is different for each person, the pain may have an impact on the physical, psychological, and social individuals who disrupt daily activities . The pain is ongoing will result in delays in the process of wound healing ( Potter & Perry, 2005) .This study aimed to identify differences in pain intensity before and after irrigation using normal saline and warmed to compare between groups that received treatment and control groups in BPK RSUD Langsa. The number of samples for this study were 30 people who were divided into two groups: the intervention group and control group , each group consisting of 15 people .The results showed differences in the quality of the two groups with a probability value ( P ) different ( 0.000 and 0.433 ) . When compared with ? ( 0.05 ) , it means a decrease in pain with irrigation using normal saline warmed very significant effect, whereas with normal saline irrigation without using a heated effect is not significant. Since the measurements were performed two times ( pre and posttest ) the researchers tried to test the paired t - test on the difference between the pre and post-test measurement results between the intervention group and the control group . It turns out that the results of Paired Sample t - test in the form of a two-sided test resulted in a probability value of 0.000, which is smaller than the probability ? ( 0.05 ). With this study it can be concluded that the use of normal saline solution heated to more effectively reduce pain in injured trauma compared with the use of warmed normal saline without traumatic injury in a similar situation .
