Hubungan Pemberian Seduhan Jahe Terhadap Emesis Gravidarum Pada Ibu Hamil Trimester I Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kuta Baro
"Background: Complications of nausea and vomiting occur in approximately 60-80% of primigravidas and 40-60% of multigravidas. In 1 out of 1,000 cases, these symptoms become more severe, and if left untreated, can lead to fatal consequences. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the incidence of emesis gravidarum affects at least 12.5% of pregnant women worldwide. The global incidence of emesis gravidarum is estimated to be around 70-80% of all pregnant women.
Objective: To determine the relationship between ginger drink administration and emesis gravidarum in first-trimester pregnant women in the working area of Kuta Baro Health Center.
Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental research with a one-group pre-post test design. The sample size consisted of 20 pregnant women experiencing emesis gravidarum.
