Hubungan Kadar Zink (Zn) Serum Ibu Hamil Aterm Dengan Berat Badan Lahir Di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang
Maternal zinc levels during pregnancy may affect the fetal growth. Deficiencyof zinc can lead to fetal growth restriction. This study aims to determine the relationship between serum zinc levels on term pregnancy and birth weight at dr. M. Djamil Hospital Padang. This study is an observational study with cross-sectional design. The samples are maternal intra partum with term pregnancy at delivery unit dr. M. Djamil Hospital Padang. Sample is taken using consecutive sampling with 38 subjects in total. Serum zinc levels are taken from maternal venous blood before delivery, mean while birth weight is measured after delivery. The data were statistically analyzed using regression correlationtest. The averages of birth weight are 3158 grams. There was no statistically significant relationship between serum zinc levels on term pregnancy and birth weight with p value 0.152 (p>0.05).
