Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Reproduksi Lansia Terhadap Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Wanita Dalam Menghadapi Pre Menopause Di Kemukiman Usi Kecamatan Mutiara Timur Kabupaten Pidie

This research aims to know the influence of reproductive health education for elderly women toward changes in knowledge and attitudes in facing pre-menopausal at Kabupaten Pidie. The research type is quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest design nonrandomized control group design. 15 respondents in treatment group and 15 respondents in the comparison group were chosen as sample. The data collection was done from 6th to 11th August 2014. Data were analyzed using different T-test with ? (0.05). The results showed that the test results of the T-test was p value is greater than the value of alpha means that there is no effect of counseling (0.187> 0.05) and leaflets (0302> 0.05) toward knowledge and attitude before and after treatment in facing pre-menopausal among the respondents. For health workers, especially midwives should convey information continuously to women aged 40-49 years by using tools or media such as flipcharts, power point, LCD, and demonstrations.
