Background : The Civid-19 oandemic has an impact on al sectors, including
antenatal care. During the pandemic covid-19 coverage of antenatal care has decreased compared to he previos Covid-19 pandemic. Data from the Bandar Baru health center, Pidie Jaya regency for the periode 2021, K1 visit were 303 people (60%) and K4 visits as manyi as when compared to 2020 K1 of 56,8% angd K4 0f 38,3% with a total derease of 3,2% in K1 anda 5,7% in K4.
The Purpose : This study aims to determine the effect of the policy on adaption new habits during the Covid-19 period on the use of antenatal care services for third trimester pregnant women at the Bandar baru health center Pidie Jaya regency in 2022.
The Research : The research method use analytic with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was 69 pregnant women with the third trimester of pregnancy, when the study was conducted on 7-24 January 2022 the data analysis used was univariat and bivariate with chi square statistical test. The Results : most of the antenatal care services in the incomplete category as many as 38 people (55,1%), policies for adapting new habits during the Covid-19 pandemic
in the inappropriate category as many 39 people (56,5%) so that there is an effect tho the policy of adapting new habits during the Covid0-19 pandemic on the use antenatal care services with a p value (0,001).
Conclusion and suggestions : There is an effect of the policy of adapting new habits during the Covid-19 pandemic on the use of antenatal care services. It is expected for health workers to improve health services, especially pregnant women about the importance of conducting regular antenatal care checks in accordance with antenatal care services procedures and standards.
