RELATIONSHIP OF ANXIETY LEVEL WITH SLEEP QUALITY OF PREGNANT WOMEN IN TRIMESTER III IN DARUL IMARAH PUSKESMAS, ACEH BESAR

ABSTRACT
Background: Anxiety is an emotional condition that occurs, or a condition that arises and increases in the face of unpleasant conditions. Anxiety in third trimester pregnant women can cause physical and psychological disturbances to the mother and fetus. Anxiety is often characterized by feelings such as knowing and causing stres, causing pregnant women to experience ailments such as headaches, palpitations, chest tightness and mild gastric disorders. In addition, during this period pregnant women have difficulty sleeping.
The purpose of the study: to determine the relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women at the Darul Imarah Public
Health Center, Aceh Besar District.
Methods: This study used a correlational research method with a cross sectional approach, while the sample in this study was 47 people with purposive sampling technique. The analysis used is bivariate with chi square test.
Research Results: The results of the study found that there was a relationship between the level of anxiety and the quality of sleep of pregnant women in the
third trimester at the Darul Imarah Public Health Center, Aceh Besar District.
Conclusions and Suggestions: There is a significant relationship between the level of anxiety on the quality of sleep of pregnant women in the third trimester at the Darul Imarah Public Health Center, Aceh Besar District. As a midwife, she must provide counseling to pregnant women on how to prevent anxiety so that it does not interfere with the quality of sleep in pregnant women.
